to the Central Library Virtual Tour. The present Millennium Library
Building was formally inaugurated by Prof. R. Natarajan, former Director
of the Institute on 07-07-2000 and the completion of second phase of
Millennium Library Building was inaugurated by Prof. M.S. Ananth, the
current Director of the Institute on 07-01-2004. The new building has
been carefully planned to have more space and natural lighting for the
comfort of the users. The reference section is fully air-conditioned
and the current journals are kept in one place for easy reference. The
attractive lobby areas for the visitors, the modern spacious counters,
the Digital Knowledge Center, OPAC, access to internet resources are
some of the special features. The Central Library has been awarded ISO
9001:2000 certification by RWTUV of Germany for the establishment and
maintenance of quality library systems & procedures. Users access
a large number of e-Journals under Intranet environment
